The River Duero ventures tentatively into El Cuco Valley before making its way through the town of Valdearcos de la Vega and crossing through Bocos de Duero, from where travellers can admire stunning panoramic views of the entire valley, and Curiel de Duero, with its two castles. On the way it passes through Pesquera or Valbuena de Duero, as well as Olivares and Sardón de Duero boasting a wealth of monuments and where wine plays a vital role. The historic towns of Simancas and Tordesillas are also well worth a visit.
