One of the most impressive views of the river Duero is when it reaches Tordesillas. From the bridge, which contributed to the founding of this town, one can see the beauty of the river's course. The historic quarter lies on the hill from which the town takes its name. There is little left of the wall apart from a few scattered remains that are part of some houses.
