This town is the cradle of one of the wines of the prestigious Vega Sicilia, as well as many other wineries that produce their wines at this point on the Ribera del Duero.
In Valbuena is the Iglesia Parroquial de Nuestra Señora del Rosario. In the area of San Bernardo is the Monasterio de Santa Maria de Valbuena, the permanent home of Las Edades del Hombre, a travelling exhibition dedicated to the religious art of Castilla y Leon.
