Once again a bridge, the Puente de Olivares- Quintanilla, which welcomes the fast-flowing river Duero. Olivares de Duero preserves a magnificent set of seven arches built in the 16th century by order of the Reyes Catolicos, later ratified by Carlos V. Although this bridge is traditionally attributed to the neighbouring Quintanilla de Onesimo, there is evidence that corroborates its connection to Olivares de Duero. After walking over the bridge and watching the river flow by, it is worth going into the Iglesia Parroquial de San Pelayo, a Gothic church.
