We leave Finolledo and opt for the Cubilinos detour, where we take a track that connects with Cabañas de la Dornilla. Crossing this town, the route advances until it reaches Cueto, passing through Cabañas Raras. Once in Cueto, continue in the direction of San Juan de la Mata, until you find a forest track that leads to Magaz de Arriba through the Vega de Rey. From this last town there is a road that ascends to Alto de Ocedo before reaching Cacabelos.
