Although there is the possibility of following this road to Igüeña, the main route of the route deviates a little further on, at the Santa Ana crossing, along a forest track that ascends the valley of the Rodrigatos stream to a headwaters dominated by open-air farms. . A little before the mines, turn left to top the La Torca hill and go down to Igüeña, in a section with a steep slope.
From Igüeña continue by road, descending the Boeza River until you find the first track that goes out to the right. This is the Valdurbán path, which ascends through brooms and heather to the outskirts of Quintana de Fuseros. Then we continue from the upper part of this town along the Camino de los Perales, which goes up to the north, going up the Lera River, and then turns west at the first crossing to face a long journey along dirt roads until we go down to Noceda.. On this route, as you go down and up successive valleys, you will see magnificent panoramic views of the surroundings, you will cross well-kept chestnut groves and you will pass through two recreational areas: the Debesa, next to the Ballulde stream, and the Plantío area. , next to the Las Rozas stream. The section ends in Noceda after a quick descent along the Rozas road.
