The same path that takes visitors to the ruins of the rock hermitage of San Vicente, on the outskirts of Cervera, allows easy access to the nearby town of Vado. From there, the cycle route continues along the right bank of Pisuerga to Barcenilla, where the river course is crossed by a concrete walkway to then return, along the opposite bank of the river, to Rueda de Pisuerga.

In the center of Rueda you cross the regional road from Cervera to Aguilar de Campoo and take a dirt track that runs parallel to the local road to Vallespinoso de Cervera. The next section runs between hills covered with oaks and grasslands, along land concentration tracks that end in the attractive enclave of Mudá, presided over by the Virgen de la Peña. On the other side of the town, the path through the valley of the Molino stream leads to Monasterio, a mountain center from which the route descends again, this time by road, to the neighboring town of Bustillo de Santullán.
