Once in Magaz de Arriba, walk through the town in a northerly direction to contact a forest track that crosses the Vega de Rey and leads to a paved road in the direction of Cueto.
Almost at the exit of Cueto, a street on the left connects with a path that continues between the meadows and the scattered hamlets that characterize the Cabañas Raras hamlet. After passing Cerro del Tesón (712 m), a descent begins towards Cabañas de la Dornilla in which the land of the Bayo industrial estate is surrounded to access the town through an underground passage under the Toreno- Ponferrada highway.
