The province of Zamora has an interesting wine tradition, in most cases with a close connection to cultural heritage. Touring the territories of the four Designations of Origin in spring, when the vines sprout again and the warm lights invade the streets of the towns, is an experience that awakens the senses. While the DO Zamora is crossed by the Vía de la Plata, the DO Toro boasts one of the most extensive and rich monumental heritage. On the other side of the province, the Arribes DO, where the vines grow on traditional terraces that defy gravity, extends across one of the most beautiful landscapes in Spain, ideal for endless outdoor experiences or on a suggestive boat ride through the Duero canyon. In the center of the Valles de Benavente DOP, the monumental heritage of Benavente stands out, a strategic point and crossroads of paths from yesterday and today, as well as the nerve center of fertile meadows with an important archaeological legacy and watered by three important rivers that merge here.
