Nature and Man have shaped this privileged spot on the north face of the Guadarrama Mountain Range. Stretching out from the high mountain peaks, across the slopes clad with vast forests of pines, oaks and holm oaks, it reaches as far as the foothills.

The Reserve is dotted with countless trails and paths that are very popular with climbers and day trippers. It features recreation areas and facilities that offer visitors an insight into the Reserve’s natural wealth and the balance between the forestry industry and the conservation of the area’s environmental and cultural heritage.
