The last town in the province of Segovia on the Madrid Way of the Pilgrims’ Route to Santiago. Set amid pine forests on meadowland running along the River Eresma, it features a monolith with a curious inscription intended to spur on pilgrims: Hacemos camino al andar: ‘the road is made by walking’.
This town also includes the following sites of interest: the Parish Church of San Pedro Apóstol and the Old Granary, built in 1790.
