Royal Palace
Palace built by Don Francisco de los Cobos and the facade was renovated at the end of the 19th century. It has a cloister-like staircase almost certainly designed by Ventura Rodríguez.
The Royal Palace of Valladolid was the official residence of the Kings of Spain in Valladolid when Valladolid was the seat of the Cortes (1601-1606). It was inhabited by the Spanish monarchs Carlos I, Felipe II and Felipe III and also by Napoleon Bonaparte during the Peninsular War. The future king Felipe IV was born there on April 8, 1605. It has come to the present with numerous structural alterations of its primitive traces, completed around 1528. It is currently the headquarters of the IV Subinspeccion General of the Army.
