Valladolid Museum. The Roman presence in Valladolid dates back to the mid-2nd century BC. The Roman villa was a form of agricultural and livestock farming that was widespread between the 1st and 5th centuries. Archaeologists have particularly studied the Villa de Prado, in the capital, and the Villa de la Calzadilla, between Almenara de Adaja and Puras. The Villa de la Calzadilla can be visited, as the Museum of Roman Villas was built on its site.
The guided tour of the piece of the month will be on Friday, April 4th at 12:00 p.m. Free admission. No reservation required.
