Friday afternoons, story time for babies by Cachivaches. This activity is aimed at children from 6 months to 3 years, divided into two age groups: 6 to 23 months and 2 to 3 years.
"Once upon a time... monster stories for babies"We have created a respectful space in the Library for families with babies, where they can enjoy communication between parents and children through stories.
And for the dates we are in: end of the year, long nights, cold days and end of the harvest... we propose a Monster Tales activity. Because there are many terrifying characters in tales. There are witches, monsters, wolves, ghosts... Why is it that we like them so much? In this activity we will play with all of them and with our fears. You will see that they are the most friendly and fun characters.
Stories have magic, they have rhythm and, most importantly, for us they are art. When educating our children, we often focus on content, but we forget that what they need is to create structures, strengthen bonds, be amazed, get excited and feed and respect their curiosity. All of this will allow us to learn, but really, learn from within. For all of this, we want language and reading to also be learned from within, very early on and through parents.

Through this workshop we want to attract the little ones in the house, and their families, to the world of stories and reading. This is a fun, creative activity, a different kind of storytelling adapted to the little ones in the house. At CACHIVACHES we use the affection of parents as a tool and doing things while having fun as a way to introduce the little ones to the exciting world of reading. It is our wish to unite reading, affection and fun, since it has been proven that it is the best way to develop a taste for books. A hobby that will accompany them for life and that will help them grow up happy. In addition, you may discover that telling stories is something that you love to do as a family.
