The river Duero enters at the height of Bermillo de Sayago in the granite terrain that so characterises the Sayago region of Zamora. Before entering the town, there is the Puente de Sogo, one of the best preserved roman bridges in the whole province of Zamora. In Bermillo a visit can be made to the parish Iglesia Parroquial de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, which dates back to the last third of the 16th century.
