In the heart of Castilla and on the banks of the Duero River this route extends through the lands from which the wines of the Rueda Designation of Origin are born. There are more than 30 municipalities that integrate this tour through the historical and wine richness of the area, very close to the provinces of Ávila and Segovia, and perfect for growing, especially, the Verdejo white grape.
This route proposes a journey through the history, landscape and artistic heritage of the Rueda area, while assuming a gastronomic experience, of which, of course, the exquisite wines of the D.O. Wheel. Its viticultural origins date back to the eleventh century and, from then until today, the care of the vine and winemaking have endowed this land with a culture and tradition that is reflected in all aspects of its personality, from its people to its artistic manifestations, without forgetting, of course, gastronomy, which acquires a leading role.
