Bodegas Mocen is a Castilian winery located in the center of the town of Rueda, Valladolid, representing centuries-old tradition and cutting-edge technology embraced in an unparalleled cultural framework. On this journey to the center of the Earth, in this 4-kilometer labyrinth of underground cellars from the 15th / 16th centuries, the original, authentic ones and those that maintain the essence of yesteryear. Walking between arches made of Mudejar brick is to immerse yourself in the history of this wine-growing town. The galleries of Bodegas Mocén follow one another, intersect, seek each other and move away, but maintaining a correspondence between them.
Founder Jose Luis Ruiz Solaguren has left us a great cultural legacy that combines tradition, art, culture, and wine.
VISITS
The experience we offer begins in the Castilian courtyard, built according to a local tradition and Castilian atmosphere.

We tour the modern winery, where we show you the facilities and reveal the secrets of our winemaking.
A comprehensive tour of the underground cellars formed by ancient galleries dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries, which are composed of Mudejar brick walls and arches.
Charming library inaugurated by Nobel Prize winner for Literature Camilo José Cela, it has more than 20,000 volumes.
Pinacoteca – museum, several rooms that house works including paintings, engravings, sculptures and other artistic objects.
We conclude with the fusion of art and science with a tasting of our wines accompanied by a tapa of cheeses to pair.
