Portillo de la Lealtad, ancient treason gate
Built in the XI century. It is one of the integral doors of the first walled enclosure and is located in the Castle gardens, between the Cathedral and the Church of San Isidoro. They say that Bellido Dolfos, a Leonese nobleman persecuted by El Cid after having killed King Sancho II the Strong, entered in 1072 during the Siege of Zamora episode.
