Shopping tourism in Zamora

- Zamora
One of the cultural treasures of Zamora is the Zamora blanket, a piece of textile craftsmanship used in the past by muleteers who traveled the roads transporting all types of products and which is identified by its red and green colors. Another cultural milestone is the pottery tradition that the province has had for centuries, having survived to the present day in the towns of Pereruela and Moveros, whose creations can be purchased in the potteries themselves or in stores in the capital.
Quality has made the typical products of Zamora the hallmark of the province, being recognized nationally and internationally. Wines that are part of the history of this land, its landscapes, its buildings and its art such as those of the DO Toro, those of the DO Arribes, those of the DO Zamora and those of the DOP Quality Wines Valles from Benavente; the Zamorano Cheese, made following the tradition of the ancient master cheesemakers; the chickpeas from Fuentesaúco; the Arribes oil made in several cooperatives in the town of Fermoselle or the Zamorano chorizo, one of the most typical of Castile and León, are just some of the products that cannot be missing from the shopping basket when living the Zamora experience.
