In the populous neighborhood of Gamonal in Burgos, every January 17, the festival of San Antón, more than 20,000 portions of titos are distributed among the residents and many others who come from different parts of the city and the province. The Brotherhood of San Antón, which dates back to the year 1502, is in charge of carefully preparing the activities of this endearing festival. After the Mass and the Blessing of Animals, the titos are distributed, which the brotherhoods prepare in the "Casa de San Antón", headquarters of the Brotherhood, and which is located in front of the Santa María la Real y Antigua de Gamonal Church.
