In Alejico there are two options to continue to Sabero: take the local road on the banks of the Esla, or follow the main route, on a harder route due to the slope and distance, but with great scenic appeal. Once in Sabero, we leave the town and cross the road from Cistierna to Boñar to take the forest track that goes up the Prao Fuego Valley and descends along the Castro de Vegamediana road until we reach Cistierna.
