Traveling along the main street of Sabero towards the southeast, the route turns right to cross the road from Cistierna to Boñar.
On the other side of the road, you take a track that goes up the Prao Fuego Valley. From this height, the route continues descending along the Castro de Vegamediana path, which will lead to the foot of the ruins of the old Vegabarrio laundry. There you have to turn right following the course of the Esla river to Cistierna.
