Images as part of reading allow children to decipher meanings, as well as stimulate imagination, fantasy, and all the possibilities of developing reading habits and understanding the world through reading.

As a creator, Irene Zottola explores the limits of analog photography to generate a dreamlike and poetic world, often accompanying her images with text. As an educator, she uses photography as an intervention tool.
