SPIT INTO THE SKY

A middle-aged man and woman tear through the night on a lonely back road on an old motorcycle. The exhausted machine needs to refill its small tank of petrol and the diffuse light of a service station promises the help that is needed. While the man refuels, the woman has entered the shabby petrol station shop to replenish her strength with some sweets. An unexpected and inexplicable act of violence breaks out and ends with the woman holding a bloody hammer and a dead man at her feet.

The man and the woman are forced to lock themselves in the small gas station, pretending to be normal and trying to get the unwelcome and unusually frequent customers who appear that night (a newlywed couple, a female choir, a theater company on tour...) to enter the store and discover the cruel reality, while the secrets of their past and the reasons for their unwavering loyalty are revealed.
