In one hour, the most important poems of Spanish literature will appear on stage, from the Coplas by Manrique to the Cantares by Machado. Obviously, the classics of the Renaissance, the Golden Age, and Romanticism will be paraded across the stage, with Garcilaso, Lope, Quevedo and Bécquer. And, of course, the 20th century: Lorca as a great reference. This is a show with one primary aim: to educate. The poems and poets that constitute the most significant milestones of our language must be from that point of view. Through pop (and the most current music and arrangements), we achieve something that can convey the words in a direct and pleasant way, that sounds close. In the show, they use pre-existing music in some cases but with new arrangements. The original authors: Paco Ibáñez, Serrat, Amancio Prada. The classics who have set the poems to music, respecting the music of the verse. Directed by Jesús Arbués, performed by Javier García and with musical arrangements by Gerardo Pontaque.

Genre: Music. Style: Contemporary-pop. Duration: 70 min.

Show included in the programming of the Network of Theatres of Castilla y León.
