Jota de la luna is a show that stirs up tradition and Castilian folklore to generate emotions through electronic music using the imagination and poetry of Federico García Lorca.

The fusion of avant-garde and tradition characterizes Dulzaro. He draws on the roots of the folklore of Castilla y León, searching through the traditional repertoire, its rhythms and instruments, and renews it with the experimental sounds of electronics.

Can electronic music coexist with jotas, charros or corridos?

Can a different sound identity be created by rescuing traditional instruments from Castilla y León such as: spoons, tambourines, drums, anise bottles, to mix them with electronic instruments and synthesizers?

Can a jota or a fandango be renewed so that young people begin to investigate folklore?

The answer can be found in Jota de la Luna, a show in which Dulzaro combines avant-garde and tradition, drawing on the roots of the folklore of Castilla y León, which he fuses with synthesizers, loops, samples and effects. With the aim of bringing out traditional heritage, Dulzaro creates a new soundscape that brings new generations closer together.
