Synopsis

Ruy Díaz de Vivar, nicknamed El Cid Campeador, is banished from the Kingdom of Castile. During his exodus, always accompanied by his faithful cousin Minaya, thousands of followers will join his cause, which is none other than to demonstrate their loyalty to the king and clear his name of insults. This exile will not be easy, as he faces great battles and difficult decisions, but his actions will make him a hero. His victories, his harangues, his treatment of the people and his army, and two circumstances:
