The Biblioneta is an old motorbike that has been transformed into a house-library where a woman named Eme travels. When Eme arrives in a town, she opens the Biblioneta and, while revealing all its secrets, she tells the public the most surprising stories and fun curiosities of the Inaccessible Island, the place where she comes from. In exchange, she asks the children who come to listen to her to write down stories that she then compiles into books, with which she fills the shelves of her Biblioneta .
THE SPACE OF LETTERS. At the end of the show, children who wish to accompany Eme to the space of letters, there they can read and/or participate in Eme's writing workshop where they will help her collect stories for the library (duration approx. 1 hour).
La Biblioneta is a mobile library that Eme, a very peculiar librarian, uses to travel the world looking for the stories that the wind one day took from Lugar, the place where she lives. Lugar is the only town that exists on Inaccessible Island, the most remote inhabited place on the planet. Inhabited by seven people, which is exactly the number of inhabitants that the island has, including Eme.
Until very recently, Eme thought that the world was Lugar and that its seven inhabitants were the world. Don't you find it surprising? That's what Eme thought when she discovered that, beyond Lugar and the Inaccessible Island, there were hundreds of paths to follow, thousands of people to meet and millions of stories to read.
It all began the day a gale swept away all the letters from all the books in Lugar, which had always been known for its inhabitants' love of reading. That day began Eme's adventure. Unable to abandon her now empty library, she decided to load it onto an old motorbike and embark on an amazing journey with the aim of recovering all the lost words and stories.
