This is the diary of Juan, a recently graduated botanist, who, as he himself tells us, returns to it after the last page he wrote when he was twelve because he has been unemployed for a few weeks and is bored. Chance has it that one day he will rediscover his old stamp collection, and Juan decides to dedicate a large part of his free time to reorganizing, classifying and studying all of them, analyzing one stamp a day, which will allow him to liven up his days in solitude and learn new facts and curiosities from fields as varied as art, geography, science, folklore, history and geopolitics of the entire world, biology, botany, etc., always with a touch of humor that allows for intimate writing. He will also rediscover the art of philately, delving deeper into that world of which he still has much to learn.

In this way, we will experience first-hand the feelings of a young man who is forced to give up going out, buying material for his hobby, and even the one he went home with for months, as well as what happens in his family environment, until fortune turns his situation around and takes him on a new adventure in the Canary Islands.
