On Wednesday, November 29 , at 7:00 p.m., in the Auditorium of the Public Library of Palencia , organized by the Ateneo Bookstore , a literary meeting with the writer Marta Sanz Pastor will take place.

Marta Sanz was born in Madrid in 1967 and has a PhD in Hispanic Philology. She is considered one of the most important figures in the Spanish literary scene of this century. She has received numerous important awards such as: the Ojo Crítico Prize for Narrative 2001 for Los mejores tiempos or the XI Vargas Llosa Prize for short stories. She was a finalist for the Nadal Prize 2006 with the novel Susana y los viejos and winner of the Herralde Prize for Novel 2015 with Farándula .

In addition to numerous novels, she has written essays, poetry, short stories and works as a literary critic. She also participates in various media outlets.
