The Department of Family and Equal Opportunities, through the Institute of Youth of Castilla y León, announces the 'Young Art' awards. Its purpose is to reward artistic creation and promote the work of young artists in the following areas: Dance, theatre/micro-theatre and cinema (Young Art) Painting (Young Art) Other forms of plastic and visual arts (Young Art) Literature (Young Art)

The General Director of the Youth Institute of Castilla y León, Mª Estela López García, will present on March 15 in the auditorium of the Library of Castilla y León, the winning books of Letras Jóvenes of the 2023 Young Art Program.

The award winners Mateo Martínez Martija, First Prize for narrative with the work, "The night on the mountain", ex aequo runner-up for Elena Uralde Peralta, "Welcome to world B" and Eva Ortiz Aguado, "The Postmodern Cain" will speak at the event.

In the poetry category, First Prize went to Celia Molina Gómez, "Peaches and Roses" and second prize to Roberto García González for "Scales".
