The LGTBIQ+ Third Age is a key essay designed to bring to the mind of 21st century society the Historical Memory of a very brave group that, in that Spain of the seventies, fought, at the risk of suffering torture, imprisonment and humiliation, to achieve levels of dignity that were unthinkable within the Franco dictatorship.

Unfortunately, today, this group is not only marginal within the LGTBIQ+ sphere, worse still, it is practically forgotten by the rest of society.

Manuel Ángel Soriano (Madrid, 1948) Doctor in Clinical Psychology. He began his professional career in 1972. He is a psychotherapist in the treatment of people with problems of anxiety, depression, anxiety and self-esteem. In this field he has extensive experience in helping the LGTBIQ+ community, as well as people with HIV.

He has previously published his doctoral thesis "Homosexual marginalization in Spain during the Transition" (2005), "Just the way we are" (2007) and "Homosexual youth" (2012) with Egales.
