Museum of Avila. On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Museum of Avila will exhibit four small works by the Ávila artist Leonor Veredas (Avila, 1921 – 1966) throughout the month of March 2025.

Her short career, due to an early death, does not prevent her from being considered an important protagonist of 20th century Ávila art. A great watercolourist, four small painted plaster figurines are on display on this occasion, in which Leonor develops a detailed - almost photographic - technique to represent as faithfully as possible these popular Castilian types, in which the Ávila cloaks of the women are clearly identified, thus creating figures that combine art and ethnographic documentation.
