An important figure in Baroque music is the "Don Quixote" suite, composed in the mid-18th century by Georg Philipp Telemann, a great admirer of Cervantes' work. The various movements of this work describe, through music, various scenes from the adventures of the ingenious gentleman. In commemoration of World Book Day, the suite will be performed and commented on in the Library by five professional musicians who form the core of the Euro-American Symphony Orchestra.
