An itinerary that guides you in the direction of Human Rights and social transformation through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and poetry.

The exhibition articulates an itinerary that brings the SDGs closer to the poetry collection "Al Este de Wengué," describing a route to discover the transversal and global implications of the SDGs in relation to inequalities, the end of poverty, gender equality, the fight against climate change, etc.

With this work, Donato Miguel Gómez Arce—a priest and poet from Burgos—aims to raise awareness and vindicate human rights, focusing primarily on the African continent, where the Burgos-based NGO Amvó Africam, of which he is the project manager, carries out its work.

It consists of one introductory roller-top and eight additional roller-tops, based on the locations described in the theme "East of Wengué." It is structured into eight itineraries where the objectives and goals of the 17 SDGs are illustrated with poetry and photographs related to:

Poverty Avenue (in relation to Goals 1, 2, 10)

Path of Education (in relation to Objectives No. 4 and 10)

Equality Roundabout (in relation to objectives 8 and 10)

Children's Walk (in relation to objectives 3 and 6)

Women's Neighborhood (in relation to Objectives 5, 8 and 10)

Disease Journey (in relation to Objectives 3 and 6)

Sustainable street (in relation to Objectives 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15)

Development Plaza (in relation to Objectives 9, 16, 17)

This exhibition can be visited in the library lobby. It is part of the "NGOs Take to the Streets" activity organized by the Burgos Working Group of the NGO Coordinator of Castilla y León, in collaboration with the Center for Cooperation and Solidarity Action. This initiative aims to showcase the work of non-governmental development cooperation organizations (NGOs) in Burgos to the public through educational exhibitions in various formats.
