For three consecutive years he received the Scholarship for students with Excellent Academic Achievement from the Junta de Castilla y León as a reward for his record. Notable in his training are the masters Miguel Romea, Andrés Salado, Achim Holub, and Andrew Gourlay, former principal conductor of the Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra, of which he has been assistant conductor in various productions.
