The exhibition The Rain Does Not Come From The Sky is the third edition of our annual series ' The Collection: Dialogues '. Inspired by the local legend of the incorruptible fish, attributed to the miracle of the purification of the Adaja River, this exhibition seeks to contemplate water from the point of view of artistic creation. It is said that the fish of the Adaja, a tributary of the Duero River that passes through Arévalo, are incorruptible due to a miracle of Saint Teresa of Ávila. This story, deeply rooted in the folklore of the area, serves as inspiration to understand the symbolism and importance of water in different cultural contexts. The exhibition invites us to reflect on the interconnection between water and life, as well as on the contemporary challenges we face in relation to the sustainable management of our water resources. Through installations, photographs, videos and historical documents, The Rain Does Not Come From The Sky offers a diverse look at the crucial role that water plays in our lives and in the world we inhabit.
