Book presentation and poetry recital "Like cold leaves", by Toño Blázquez

'Like Cold Leaves' uses a seasonal metaphor to illustrate the transition from a warm "spring" to a freezing "winter", symbolizing the loss of warmth in human relationships. However, the author also hints at a message of hope, which is essential for human resilience . (Salamanca al día, 6-11-2024)

Tony Blazquez (Salamanca , 1959)

Writer and poet, cultural activist through the Ateneo de Salamanca, he is also an actor. He has received numerous awards as a bullfighting critic, giving talks in Spain, France and Portugal on the culture related to bullfighting.

He regularly collaborates in cultural events in Salamanca and for three years he has been writing songs and giving musical recitals alongside the actress and singer Paz Lleras.

He has published five books of poetry, a short novel and a book of memoirs.
"Like Cold Leaves" collects his latest poetic concerns.
