Azar Teatro. We were founded in 1990 and since then, our shows are an expression of the freedom of themes, techniques and resources. We are an open team where the constant flow of ideas and the contrast of experiences generates a dynamic and creative spirit that explores all the possibilities of expression that theatre has.

At a Rueda pace . In the middle of the Second Spanish Republic, in the style of Lorca's "La Barraca", three comedians travel with their "Thespian cart" along the dusty roads of our geography. They are comedians fulfilling the urgent pedagogical mission of bringing culture to all those corners forgotten by history. They come in search of a new audience, the one that is on the road at the end of any day, to show it the enormous wealth of our classical theatre. Let Lope's Pasos be the "extensive comedy" and Federico's thought the "interludes" that entertain the intermissions. "La Barraca" and its era serve us as a context and pretext to teach by entertaining or to entertain by teaching lessons of life and theatre, of history and literature.
