Valladolid Museum. After sixty years of manipulating the vellón coin, Philip IV decided to mint a coin again "of fine silver mixed with copper". The result was a coin that was technically very well made, but which ended up being the most counterfeited coin in history, to the point that in the time of Charles II the counterfeits began to circulate legally.
