The NextGenerationEU are a set of temporary financial instruments endowed with 750 billion euros for all Member States. They will contribute to repairing the economic and social damage caused by the coronavirus pandemic, through reform and investment programs in the coming years.

The objectives are: Promote economic, social and territorial cohesion; strengthen resilience and adjustment capacity; mitigate the social and economic repercussions of the COVID-19 crisis and support the green and digital transitions.

These European Funds are articulated in several instruments, one of which is the REACT-EU Fund (additional resources provided as recovery aid for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe), endowed with 47.5 billion euros. The REACT-EU funds are incorporated into the Cohesion Policy and operate like structural funds, but with greater flexibility and agility in their execution. REACT-EU will promote the green, digital and resilient recovery of the economy.
