Located in the Riberas de Castronuño- Vega de Duero Natural Reserve. With a length of 33 km and a medium difficulty, this long route of the Cañadas Reales (Drovers' road) can be done both on foot and by bicycle and mixes the spectacular nature of the Riberas de Castronuño, with the monumental heritage of its towns, such as the tower of the Church of San Nicolás de Pollos. It runs through the reserve through riverside forests, crop fields, oak groves, pine groves and reeds, so you can observe many associated birds: gray and purple heron, marsh harrier, bee-eater and cormorant. We recommend bringing binoculars. Exceptional views of the Duero plain, with the Cubillas oak forest as a backdrop. The Cañadas Reales (Drovers' road) retains its width and has not been invaded by the neighboring fields.
