From Almeida en Portugal / Fuentes de Oñoro en Salamanca to Almeida en Portugal / Aldea del Obispo en Salamanca

The GR80 is a circular route that runs through the historic and border walled cities of Almeida, Ciudad Rodrigo, Aldea del Obispo and its Fuerte de la Concepción.

From the paths trodden by armies of soldiers throughout history, you can contemplate the environment of great biodiversity and observe the particular "arrivals" of the Turones and Águeda rivers from the Garagalla teso. The path also takes us to see the rock engravings of the archaeological site of Siega Verde, recognized as World Heritage since 2010.
