Posada Casa del Brasilero
Casa del Brasilero was the house once belonged to Tomas Perera Andrade, a local resident who emigrated to Brazil where he made a vast fortune. He returned to the town in 1890, where he was nicknamed El Brasilero ’ ‘the Brazilian’ ’ and built this house, noted for its impeccable design and refined style. Today the building is owned by Saucelle Town Council.
Built in granite in the Portuguese style, the two-storey Posada is quadrangular in shape with three vertical fronts. During the renovation work, particular care was taken to preserve the original features of the building. The surrounding area boasts numerous attractions including the Arribes del Duero Natural Area.
