Reservoir of Cervera
It is located in the Rivera river, a tributary of the Pisuerga, and in the region of the Montaña Palentina. It was the first dam which was built by the Government in the Duero basin in 1923 and its main target was to keep the waters of the Canal de Castilla.
On the shore of this reservoir, is located the Parador de Fuentes Carrionas, which offers fantastic views of the mountains of the Peña Almonga and Peña Redonda and the always crystal clear water that resembles a natural lake and which is fully integrated into the northern Palencia landscape.
