Llamazares Cave
A magnificent series of intricate galleries and caverns featuring seemingly impossible karst formations has been steadily formed over several thousand years by the action of the rain that falls from the clouds over the southern slopes of the Cantabrian Mountains and eventually flows into the legendary River Curueño. Indeed, these coralliform figures are practically unique and can only rarely be seen in other caves of karst origin.
