An interesting proposal in which nature, sport and heritage come together is to tour the Palentina Mountain by bicycle and discover the Romanesque in the north of the province. This circular route designed by León-born Jesús Calleja with nearly 60 km, just over a thousand meters of elevation gain and 330 information panels, starts from Aguilar de Campoo and runs through towns such as Olmos de Ojeda where the Santa Eufemia de Cozuelos monastery is located, Moarves de Ojeda with its magnificent parish church, Peranzancas de Ojeda where you must visit the hermitage of San Pelayo, San Cebrián de Muda with the church of San Cornelio and San Cipriano, San Salvador de Cantamuda and its collegiate church or the monastery of San Andrés de Arroyo.
Pedaling along the Romanesque, as this route is called, connects with two others with a longer route such as the GR1 and the Camino Lebaniego Castellano in San Cebrián de Mudá, an interesting town also for being the access point to the European Bison Reserve.
