Cañon del Río Lobos Natural Park
There is a place where the lands of Soria are structured to create a truly unique landscape, the Lobos River canyon, whose end must be sought in the province of Burgos. From the Galiana viewpoint, observe the deep canyon and imposing cliffs that form this unique natural reserve, sculpted by millions of years of erosion.
Enter juniper and black pine forests, home to a varied fauna. Observe pairs of griffon vultures, golden eagles, Egyptian vultures and falcons in their natural habitat. Visit the medieval castle of Ucero and enjoy unique panoramic views, contemplate the hermitage of San Bartolomé, a centenary witness nestled in the rocks of the canyon. A Templar hermitage from the 13th century that fuses history and nature, integrating gracefully into the landscape and offering a stunning view that will transport you to another era.
