First book printed in Spain, the Sinodal of Aguilafuente, 1472 in Segovia.

It contains the minutes of the diocesan Synod held in Aguilafuente in the first days of June of that year.

The synod was convened by Bishop Juan Arias Dávila to reform the lax morals of both clergy and laity. The book is housed in the Diocesan Museum of Segovia Cathedral.

Tomás Conde Macías is president of the Aguilafuente Synod Cultural Association, an organization created in 2003 to commemorate the first book printed in Spain.
