Avila Museum. In "Castellanos" by Guido Caprotti (1887-1966), a humble family consisting of a woman and two children appeals to us through the eyes of the characters, the true protagonists of the painting. Signed in Avila in 1933, it belongs to the central period of the artist's production. He was of Italian origin and had lived in Avila since 1916. Both for his life and his work, he can be considered one of the most representative Ávila painters of the first half of the 20th century.

The painting, recently acquired by the Museum of Avila, will be presented by Juan Antonio Sánchez Hernández on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the Casa de los Deanes, as part of the Spring Piece activity.
